08/03/2006Ms. Ana Maria CRISTINA handed LOULIS Group the award for Most Impressive Expansion in the Greek Investment Awards Gala
On March 7, 2006 Marriott Grand Hotel, hosted the special Gala event celebrating the success of Greek Investment in Romania.
His Excellency, Mr. Athanassios Dendoulis – Ambassador of Greece to Romania hosted the first annual Greek Investment Awards that recognize the success of Greek companies in Romania as well as their involvement in the development of the country's business climate.
This was high profile event, attended by important representatives from the Romanian government such as Mr. Codrut Seres Minister of Economiy and Commerce, and Jakab Istvan state secretary in the Ministry of Public Finance and the Greek business community at top management level.
On the very occasion Ms. Ana Maria CRISTINA – President of the Romanian Agency for Foreign Investment handed Loulis Group the award for Most impressive expansion for the company’s consistent development in Romania.
The other categories awarded on this event were:
- Best Success Story to Romtelecom for successful privatisation of a state company and its development, awarded by HE. Mr. Athanasios Dendoulis, Ambassador of Greece;
- Commitment to Romania's economy to Bancpost for combining continuous innovation in the banking sector with social commitment to Romania, awarded by Ioan Codrut Seres, Minister of Economy and Commerce;
- Best regional development to Dorna Grup for outstanding contribution to regional development, awarded by Jakab Istvan state secretary in the Ministry of Public Finance;
- Corporate Social Responsibility Award to Alexandrion Grup Romania for constant support and involvement in social projects through Fundatia Umanitara Alexandrion, awarded by Mr. Lambis Kounalakis, Economic and Commercial Counsellor, Greek embassy
